About the Artist

Katie Leemon has been creating art for over 20 years. She believes in making fine art affordable and more accessible to the general public. She has a passion for creating and finds portraiture some of the most rewarding pieces she does.

“Whenever I paint or draw a loved one for clients, I try to honor their personality and spirit as much as I can. I pay attention to the things a client tells me about the subject. It means a lot to me that they trust me with something as precious as a memory of someone special to them, whether it’s an animal or a human.”

Katie has studied graphic design, communications, and digital media at both Lindenwood University and Washington University in St. Louis. She enjoys all forms of creativity, including those outside of traditional painting and drawing.
